With the consistency of the swell pushing through (still hangin' in there) I'd reckon a fair few of you would be sporting some pretty serious smileage into work this morning. Looks like today and early tomorrow will see the last of it :(

We've started getting a few Mauricio Gill shapes in, the small wave board pictured is 5'10 but have a squiz at his website www.mgsurfboards.com at the entire model range. We'll be getting a few over the next few weeks but are taking orders now.

Also thrown up a pic of Brett Warner's take on the modern fish shape, got these in a heap of sizes - but they're moving fast!

I'll have a few new bits and pieces to report tomorrow! Yeeeeeeew

Online store!

This may be a bit premature, but that's never stopped me before! Check out our online store at www.dripwetsurf.com, we're still working on getting all the merchandise up there but there's heaps of surfboards for you guys to flip through. Don't expect to log on and just find the shaper's description of his own models, we've also added our own feedback on all boards. We've ridden everything in the shop and can give honest, first-hand info on the how, who, where, why, etc.

Have creep through and tell us what you think...

....the eye of the storm

Unless you have a spot that likes a bit of south in it's wind, first thing this morning was about the only chance we were gonna get for a nice little glassy wave. But the good news is that there's finally a bit of energy in the water and we're gonna have waves all Easter long weekend. Is it just me, or do the Sydney beach line-ups thin a bit over Easter?

The new arrivals today are a few nice retro twinny fish from a Dee Why mystery shapers????!!!! I've added some pics of a couple of the heavily sprayed up numbers, but we've got a 5'10, 6'0 & 6'2 - all going for a very special price of $500 a piece! And if you're starting to think about a board for winter or planning an Indo trip we've got some Warner semi-guns that are flying out the door. We've got these in a ton of different sizes going for $750 each. I've also thrown up a pic of his standard hi-po model, super refined all-rounder going for the same price.

Oh, and if you can get Giovanni(pictured) to do his party trick, Ingrid (lovely lady on the right) will organise an even better deal on any of the boards in the store! C-ya

...Lost Enterprises new sticks

Matt "Mayhem" Biolis winning surfer magazine's shaper of the year award was pretty much a given after last year. Models like the Lost Rocket, Lost Round Nose Fish and Lost Monkfish were all over the place this summer. Well 2010 is shaping up to be another cracker year from the boys as they've released a ton of new models, mostly aimed at livening up sessions in less than perfect conditions. The theory behind Biolis' exploits is that he makes boards for the average, everyday surfer and the conditions that they normally ride - 2ft junk. The results speak for themselves and makes you wonder that if Mr Al Merrick didn't have all that star power making his sleds shine bright, would ...Lost still be occupying the number 2 spot on the world's highest selling surfboard brand list. Apparently there is even a board test out there somewhere that involves a bunch of like sized pros evaluated a bunch of blank boards made by some of the world's best foam carvers. The results came out pretty convincingly in favour of ...Lost Enterprises, even Lord Kelly rated the Whiplash model the best of the bunch!

We've always got ...Lost models coming and going, but best to place an order (02 9300 0055) so we can guarantee you get what you're after.

New blogspot

Yep, that's right folks. Another surf related blog designed to provide all you desk-bound, surfcraft jockeys with a little bit of that sweet, sweet escapism.

we'll no doubt pump in the odd surf report, or tall tale about a trip down the Coast (thanks for the Aussie Pipe wrap up Gio!), but we'll mostly bring you the latest and greatest in equipment that floats through our doors.

We've got 2 locations, Bondi Beach and North Steyne in Manly. so pop in and say g'day if you're in the neighbourhood. I'm sure we'll have something in the rack that's sure to keep you awake at night shuffling dollars in your head!

For the shortboarders, we've got some beautys in at the moment. If you're looking for something to slide in the small stuff we've got a few JC Hawaii (Dorian's shaper)boards to do the trick. Flying Pigs (5'10, 6'0 & 6'2 in stock) and TRD (only one 6'0 left) are the board models and the finish is incredible. We're also doing specials on Greg Clough's little chunky single fin models. For those that don't know, Greg was the man behind Aloha surfboards and now shapes under his own label. Super sick boards and going for a special price of $500.00 a piece (5'6, 5'9 & 5'10 in stock). I'll throw up some pics tomorrow. If any of this tickles your fancy drop us a line on 9300 0055 or swing by. Ciao
